Hi, I’m Beccy Nettleton. Amplifyouth has come from a passion for investing in young people, to see them overcome challenges and be equipped to live life in all its fullness. The heart of the business has come from working with young people for 20 years, in both an educational and youth group setting.
I hold an honours degree in Psychology from the University of Derby and have worked in a number of different settings, from working for a number of Churches in different denominational settings, to working directly in a school for over a decade. I have carried out work both within primary schools and at secondary level.
Outside of a school setting I have also pioneered and established a successful youth work and centre in a rural community for a local parish council, been involved in the pioneering of a joint youth work project with three Churches, and more recently being involved in leading a course for women based around value, strength and purpose.
The vision of Amplifyouth is born out of this past experience and personal faith and belief that every life is full of potential and value and worth. Whether faith is directly talked about the aim of Amplifyouth is to help young people understand their value and worth; to see them fulfil their potential; to encourage them to live full lives; and, to help them make healthy life choices.
